Serve With Us

There is a place for your yes.

Volunteers bring practical help, hope, and encouragement to widows throughout the year. You do not need to know exactly where you fit before reaching out.

Explore Opportunities

01 — Begin with a conversation

You do not have to choose the perfect role before you raise your hand.

Tell us what draws you to Sacred Share, how much time you have, and the kinds of service you are considering. We’ll schedule a conversation, answer your questions, and help identify a meaningful next step.

02Personal connection

Walk Alongside a Widow

Offer steady encouragement through Sacred Share’s Care Team.

Care Team volunteers build trusted relationships with widows through regular conversation, thoughtful follow-up, and compassionate presence. Because this role involves trust and consistency, expressing interest begins a conversation rather than an automatic placement.

  • Regular check-ins
  • Encouragement and connection
  • Sharing needs with Sacred Share

06 — Welcome and belonging

Help Create Meaningful Gatherings

Hospitality helps every widow and guest feel expected, welcomed, and cared for.

Volunteers may assist with the Widow’s Table, the Inner Circle Luncheon, educational gatherings, or other special events. Opportunities can include greeting, registration, setup, serving, decorating, photography coordination, cleanup, or simply being a warm and attentive presence.

07 — Room for every season

Serve Once, Occasionally, or Throughout the Year

Sacred Share welcomes people with different schedules, capacities, and levels of availability. Some opportunities are one-time or seasonal. Others involve an ongoing commitment.

There are also behind-the-scenes needs that may not appear on this page. If you are willing to help, we would be glad to learn more about you and keep your interests in mind as needs arise.
